Amazon Echo Can Now Controls Nest

Alexa and Nest can keep things cozy.

Alexa (Amazon Echo) and Nest now work together. With a Nest Learning thermostat, you can raise, lower, or set a target temperature—just ask. To see all of the thermostats you can control with Alexa, including the ecobee thermostat and the Sensi thermostat from Emerson.

To control your thermostat with Alexa, go to your Alexa App and link your device. Then just ask:

Alexa, set my home temperature to 65.             

Alexa, increase the temperature upstairs.

You can also create a personalized Sports Update to get scores and schedules for your favorite teams' Premier League games, along with teams playing in the WNBA, NBA, MLB, MLS, NHL, NFL, and NCAA. Select "Settings" and then "Sports Update" in your Alexa App. Once you have personalized your update, just ask:

Alexa, give me my Sports Update
