Sony RX10M II The Bridge Camera Killer

Next-Generation Sensor

With the world’s first 1-inch stacked back-side illuminated Exmor RS CMOS sensor, a new world of super-real photography emerges.
Introducing the world’s first* 1-inch (1.0-type) stacked CMOS image sensor with DRAM chip and a blazingly fast shutter speed of up to 1/32000s This new Exmor RS sensor not only enhances efficiency and speed of A/D conversion through its stacked structure with more circuit sections; it also realizes over five times faster readout speed of the previous RX10.

Thanks to Sony for pushing the boundaries of image sensors beyond its limit and constantly innovating, with a DRAM chip integrated into the sensor structure. This processing speed allows for stunning 20.2-megapixels at up to 16fps continuous.

The Sony RX10 II took its design ques built and lens specification from its predecessor, but it also debut some of the most impressive new technology under the hood. Its video recording offers up in body 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution, as well as an option for 40x super slow motion capture at 960 fps.

Like its predecessor, the RX10 II provides a stabilized 24-200mm equivalent lens with Super-speed Anti-Distortion Shutter at max. 1/32000 sec. up to 16fps, Bright constant F2.8 ZEISS Vario Sonar T* lens. Also as in the RX10 before it, WI-Fi and NFC are also built-in
The RX10 II is sealed against dust and moisture

High quality 4k in this new camera is achieved by a high-speed front-end LSI, which processes mass volume image data from the 1-inch Exmor RS CMOS sensor – With full pixel readout and no line skipping or pixel binning – resulting in images that exhibit higher resolution and less moiré and jaggies than typical 4K movies. Moreover, the XAVC S format is incorporated to maximize high-bitrate shooting up to 100 Mbps for professional quality videos.

The  RX10M II also includes pro-style functions such as; Picture Profile, S-Log2/S-Gamut, TC/UB, Rec Control, Dual Video Recording, marker display function, etc. that have typically been available only in professional-use camcorders.

You can now get to see the unseen with super-speed HFR (High Frame Rate). The RX10M II can capture super slow motion HFR movie at up to 40x slower than real time. You can chose from 960fps, 480fps or 240fps to playback in XAVC S at 1920 x 1080, in either 60p, 30p or 24p.
It is built with Professional dust/moisture resistant magnesium-alloy body, Bright XGA OLED Tru-Finer viewfinder and Sharp 3″ multi-angle LCD, Simple connectivity to smartphones via Wi-Fi and NFC w/ camera apps Sony’s play memory store and a lot more than we can list here.

Where ever you go and whatever you shoot, the large, constant F2.8 aperture ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 24-200mm (35mm equivalent ) lens lets you take sensational images with beautiful background defocusing throughout its zoom lens range.

Its impressive depiction reflects lens-body integrated design of 7 aspherical lens elements, including an Advanced Aspherical lens to compensate for aberrations, plus ZEISS T* Coating to help reduce flare and ghosting. This versatile lens features Direct Drive SSM (Super Sonic wave Motor) with accurate focusing stop positions, and provides seamless shifting to macro shooting supported by wide-angle and telephoto settings.

Sony is one of the few Companies that truly listen to its customers feedback and actually do something with the complains and improvement request that they gets and now they have delivered in a major way bringing professional imaging experience to the acclaimed Cyber shot RX series

Now I know maybe really excited about this camera in my test and review, so let me be a little modest and say that this camera is not perfect its just better.
There is no other camera right now in its class that can take mind blowing crisp sharp video and stills images like it does, and all I can say is go Get one for yourself do your own test I promise you wont want to put it down after you take it of the box.
