The Rumors that Xiaomi was working on a brand new Windows laptop have been confirmed. Now the Mi assortment has been expanded with two new devices — a 12.5 notebooks with and a 13.3 inches variant.
The 12.5
inches Mi Notebook Air is the youngest version in the lineup; the device has a
Full HD display with a diagonal of 12.5 inches. The computer is based on the
Intel Core m3 processor; it is equipped with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and a fast SSD
drive with a capacity of 128 GB. Two speakers manufactured by AKG are installed
in the device as an audio system.
The
12.5-inch Mi Notebook runs the Windows 10 operating system, and its battery
capacity is enough for 11.5 hours of continuous operation under a load.
The 13.3-inch
Mi Notebook which is the much bigger model of Mi Notebook Air has a slightly
larger 13.3-inch screen, while its weight is only 1.28 kilograms. The Intel
Core i5-6200U processor with a clock speed up to 2.7 GHz has become the heart
of the laptop, and the NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics card (1GB GDDR5) is
responsible for video processing. Which makes this a compact and powerful
machine it will ship with 8 GB of RAM and 256GB SSD flash memory.
The
13.3-inch Mi Notebook Air is able to operate continuously for about 9.5 hours
on a single battery charge, which is a quite good result for such powerful
technical specifications. The dimensions of this Mi Notebook Air version are
309.6 × 210.9 × 14.8 mm.
Both
laptops have metal housings and Windows 10 operating system. You can also
synchronize the Mi Notebook with your smartphone via a special application, and
unlock access to its desktop using the Mi Band.
